Puss in Boots
Puss in Boots, a Spanish-speaking humanomorphic cat named for his boots. Puss is a wanted criminal who is evading capture from the law enforcement authorities, tries to bring his honor back. Puss discovers that Jill and Jack the murderous couple who are outlaws, possess the magical beans he’s been waiting for. The beans could lead him to a castle that is believed to contain precious golden goose eggs. Kitty Softpaws is a female cat who disrupts Puss in her attempt to take the beans from their hiding place. Kitty Softpaws was also enlisted by Humpty Alexander Dumpty to take the beans. Kitty Softpaws is an egg that talks and is a long-distant friend of Puss’s from the orphanage where they together raised. Kitty listens to Puss regarding his background and the way Humpty played Puss into committing an armed robbery in his home town of San Ricardo. Since the time, Puss has been running away. Humpty eventually convinces Puss to help them find the beans and retrieve the golden eggs.
Puss and Kitty are in love after Jack and Jill take the beans and place the beans in the desert. They take the beanstalk up in the sky, and then enter the castle of the giant, in which Humpty informs Puss that the legendary man passed away many years ago. They must stay clear of the Great Terror, who guards the golden eggs. When they realize the eggs are too heavy they decide to take the young goose ( gosling). The group flees from the castle and slash the beanstalk down. After celebrations, Jack and Jill ambush the party and Puss is left in a state of unconsciousness.
Puss awakes and believes that Humpty was kidnapped and then follows Jack and Jill’s vehicle towards San Ricardo. He realizes that the kidnapping was faked. Jack, Jill and Kitty are employed by Humpty who is determined to exact revenge on Puss for letting him down in the heist that failed several years earlier. After being begged by his mother who adopted him Imelda, Puss finds himself being surrounded by the town militia. Puss is sent to jail and Humpty is celebrated as a hero for having provided the riches of the gold eggs to the residents of the town.
Puss encounters Andy Beanstalk while in prison. He is also referred to as Jack by his fellow prisoners and is in reference to the character from ” Jack & the Beanstalk”. Jack was initially imprisoned by Humpty, who took the beans. Jack warns Puss about the Great Terror, a giant goose that will invade the town in order to save her child. Puss finds out that Humpty is trying to attract the Great Terror into his town in hopes of taking revenge for his detention. The gosling flees along with Puss. Jack and Jill try to take on Puss with plans to drown in the sea however, Kitty lets Puss from the jail and offers her apology to her. He discovers Humpty enough to convince him to forgive himself by saving the town. Puss and Humpty make use of the gosling to entice the Great Terror from the town. Kitty assists them in stopping Jack and Jill from taking the gosling. They make it to the edge of the forest, and Humpty and Gosling are taken off the bridge that has collapsed however they are able to hold on to the rope Puss holds. Humpty is defeated and lets go after it becomes apparent that Puss isn’t able to save the entire group. Puss discovers the truth that Humpty was in fact a huge golden egg that was hidden in his shell following an accident that killed him. The Great Terror is reunited to her gosling, and she takes the golden egg that was left behind to the castle of the giant.
Puss is still a wanted man to the militia, despite having saved the town and being hailed as an hero by the town’s residents. Kitty is a sly pawn and pursues the fugitive away. Jack and Jill are still recuperating from their injury. Humpty is shown to be faking his death in an egg-shaped costume made of gold. Puss and Kitty finally have a kiss.
